It's summer so ware do you go?...... Brazil!! No people, strong winds and perfect weather everyday. Together with Bas Koole, Leonard Rose and Barry Romp I went to Brazil at the 12e of July and we will stay till the 30e of august.

Kite Board Open - Podium place

Just had a sick weekend at Noordwijk-KBO.

This year we had 3 days of wind with a pro half hour session, ware all the pro riders went out and show ware they wore made of!

It was really nice to see everybody try there hardest tricks in the choppy waters of Noordwijk.

I ended up on the podium with the best lowmobe(kite almost in the water) of the day.

It was a super nice KBO and hope to be there next year again!!!

Props to the organization!

The B Angle - Bram Bast

The B Angle is the first movie I made my self.
It's a movie with lots of angle's and it has some sick Dubstep music under it.
I was in Brazil for over 2.5 months, after 2 months I broke my finger and could not shot anymore footage for my movie. It's not the longest movie but I think it came out really good.
No more talking, just watch and enjoy!!!!!

Broken finger

2 days ago I was kiting on Cauipe - Cumbuco, I was just doing some fun stuff like riding inhookt blind. As I watched my chickenloop I saw it unhook and grabbed it, at that moment it unhookt and my board cached rail the safety hit my finger so hard it broke. because I was riding super powered up, everything goos with more power.

It's going to take around 3 to 4 weeks before I am aloud to use my finger normally again.

So now I am going to film a lot of Bas Koole so his movie is going to be off the hook!

It's going to be a sick season again, with lots of good sessions and film/photo shots.

Last stop of the KTE

Last week was the last stop of the KTE in poland.

I finished 13e overall in the KTE tour witch is not so good.

I will come back strong next year and hope there is going to be a bit more wind at the events then this year.

I am super happy I joint the KTE and for shore going to join the tour next year again.

Thanks to the organisation and riders how made it possible.

Protest Cable Call 5th place open men

Just had my first wakeboard competition, and I am super stoked about it.

Finished 5th in the open men competition!.

I had two pretty nice runs ,with some good inverts.

The only thing I really noticed was that I really have to improve my slider and kicker skills.

So I am going to do that for sure.

The event was really good, with a nice party and some sick pro riders who rocked the cable.

I will by back next year for sure.

Hopefully doing even better then this year.

Second passion

After having don the PKRA Germany, a started working again so i can go to Brazil this winter again.

unfortunately it is really hard to keep kiting wen you work, you only have the weekends and if there is no wind you have bad luck.

Thats way I love to wakeboard wen there is no wind, this is really starting to get a second passion of my'n.

Upcoming weekend the Protest Cable Call competition is, so my self and Bas Koole decided to compete in this competition.

Just some fun competition to get some idea how it go's off in a wakeboarding competition and to see how the pro-riders rip.

PKRA Germany SPO was super nice!

After spending 10 days in Germany for the PKRA I am back home again.

It was a really nice event with a lot of windy days and good party's.

I ended 17e witch is a pretty nice for a world cup of this level and 105 competitors.

KTE Switzerland- Silvaplana

After a long drive we arrived at Silvaplana, a beautiful spot with super nice landscape.

I went for a nice boat trip over the lake of Silvaplana together with Emiel and Ian, for some nice exploring of the country.

Next day the comp started, I was in the 3e heat against Tom Shuller. The wind was super light and I did not have any power to pop some nice tricks. Tom took his advantage and won the heat.

When the singles were finished, we immediately started the doubles. I was in the first heat against Emiel Rense I did win this heat. But because the wind dropped after another heat, the doubles could not be finished and I did not get up in the ranking.

It was a super nice event with lots of things to do next to kiting, and I am looking forwards to come back here next year.

KTE Germany-Sylt

After a long windless week in Sylt I am back home.

The wind did not com up so we had to do some sup boarding and chilling.

The event was super nice, a lot of foot,party's, camera's and People.

Can't wait for next year and then with wind hopefully.

Next stop Silverplana- Switzerland, hoop to have some wind there and upgrade my result.

first day in Egypt!!

Today was my first day in Egypt - Soma Bay. The wind was good, the temperature was OK.

And I am staying at The Breakers hotel.

The Breakers hotel, is really crazy! It is super luxe! Everyone from the hotel is treating you like a King!! They do everything for you. It's almost a bit scary, cause they always are smiling to you.

I'm kiting at the 7bft kitecenter.

Tomorrow I am probably going to do a downwinder to another spot where some friends of mine are. It's about 5 minutes downwind of the 7bft kitestation, and back is going to be 30 minutes I hope :-)

We also made some nice pictures to day. Here are some of them.

He people, Egypt is coming up!!!!

Dam!!! after 2 months of working and waiting till the temperature goos up my dad and I decided to go to Egypt from 18 march till the 1e of April.

It is still way to cold to kite in Holland, and my kite addiction starts to make me crazy.
So now we go to Egypt for two weeks to get ready for the session and have a killer time.
my dad is going to dive and I am going to kite. :D

We will go to soma bay south of Hurgada.

Can't wait!!!

After 2 months in Brazil it was time to go back to Holland.
So I wend back, first the taxi this went super good.
Then the air plain this went a bit harder be cos I was in Brazil for 62 days and was only aloud to stay here 60 days so I had to go to the police on the airport to get a special paper to still go back home this took one hour, lucky I was on time with everything so could take the plain and come back home safely.
At Schiphol my parents and Kor a good friend of my came pick my up, this was very nice.
now I am sitting in my bed be cos it is way to cold to go out.
Back to normal, can't wait till the next time Brazil.

Almost the end of the trip again.

After 7,5 weeks the Brazilian live is almost over again.
Everybody is leaving Cumbuco and going back home,the Laguna goos empty again.
Now it is 1,5 week of pure kiting and training the last tricks, and make the finale shots for the movie.

7e dutch championship

After one of the best dutch championships in history, I succeeded to get a 7e place.
Saturday the wind was super strong, I was on my 7 meter overpowerd, so i did the sickest kiteloops and jumps I ever did in my life. witch made me get a 5e place in the singles.

Sunday was the freestyle day, so time for the dubbles.
I had to wait for some time end the wind was dropping pretty fast, but I succeeded to get threw my first round, the second round I lost against Jerrie van de kop, it was a close head but he did just that bit more.

Overall I am really happy, the level was super high this year.
And it gave my the will to go train even harder now!!
